Description
AECOM is hiring an Associate to join its Water team and lead technical flood forecasting projects, including developing and calibrating models, reviewing hydrometric data, producing technical reports, supporting tenders, and mentoring team members. The role also involves wider hydrology and non-real-time modelling, client collaboration, and compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines. Candidates need significant flood forecasting modelling experience, knowledge of Environment Agency requirements, hydrological modelling expertise, analytical and GIS skills, and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; scripting knowledge is advantageous. The position offers hybrid working and flexible part-time or flexible arrangements.
