Description
AECOM is hiring an Associate Flood Forecasting Modeller for its Water team to lead real-time flood forecasting projects and contribute to wider hydrology and non-real-time modelling work. The role involves developing and calibrating flood models, reviewing hydrometric data and technical reports, supporting tenders, mentoring team members, and collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams. Candidates need significant flood forecasting modelling experience, knowledge of Environment Agency requirements, hydrological modelling expertise, analytical and GIS skills, and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline. The position offers hybrid working and flexible part-time or flexible arrangements.
