Splitero is hiring an Associate General Counsel to serve as the primary legal owner of its home equity investment origination process, covering marketing, applications, underwriting support, closing, document recording, and servicing. The role advises on federal and state consumer finance and privacy regulations, reviews marketing materials, manages vendor and transaction agreements, handles litigation and complaints, and partners with origination, operations, marketing, and product teams. It requires at least seven years of legal experience, a JD, active United States bar membership, and familiarity with consumer finance products and regulatory frameworks. The position offers on-target earnings of $240,000 to $300,000, including base salary and a biannual bonus, and includes comprehensive healthcare, flexible PTO, parental leave, and a monthly cell and internet stipend.
