Description
The Grant Compliance Specialist supports post-disaster recovery and mitigation programs in Puerto Rico by researching federal requirements, translating guidance into compliant policies and procedures, and supporting monitoring, audit readiness, and regulatory reporting for HUD-funded programs such as CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT. The role collaborates onsite with senior staff and subject matter experts, prepares compliance documentation and presentations, manages version control and project plans, and monitors contracts and service-provider files for regulatory compliance. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, one year of public administration, government, policy, or compliance experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, and bilingual Spanish-English ability are required.
