Description
Amgen is hiring an Associate Maintenance Technician (Electrical Apprentice) to support licensed electricians with electrical system operation and maintenance at the ARI site. Responsibilities include backup power and UPS systems, basic troubleshooting and repair, fire alarm system support, updating electrical schematics and drawings, and identifying process improvements. The role begins on the 6:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. admin shift and may transition to a 12-hour rotating day or night shift after apprenticeship completion. A high school diploma or GED is required; electrical maintenance experience, an associate’s degree, relevant certification, and the ability to pursue a Rhode Island Class M Electrician License are preferred.
