Description
The Control Room Engineer/Lead Desk Engineer/Lead FGD/Switchyard Engineer monitors and operates thermal power-plant systems, including boilers, turbines, generators, balance-of-plant, switchyards, and transformers; executes start-up and shut-down procedures; responds to emergencies; performs FGD operations; maintains plant logs and environmental compliance; and supports energy conservation, safety, automation, and process improvements. The role requires a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field and at least 9 years of power-plant operations experience, with thermal-power-plant experience preferred.
