Description
The Control Room Engineer/Lead Desk Engineer/Lead FGD/Switchyard Engineer monitors and operates thermal power-plant systems, including boilers, turbines, generators, balance-of-plant equipment, switchyards, and transformers. The role executes start-up and shut-down procedures, responds to emergencies, performs FGD operations, maintains plant logs, supports energy conservation and environmental compliance, and implements digitization and automation improvements. It requires a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field and at least 9 years of power-plant operations experience, with thermal-power-plant experience preferred.
