L3Harris is hiring an Associate, Materials Process Engineer in Huntsville, Alabama to support the Advanced Manufacturing Facility’s Materials and Process Engineering Laboratory. The role conducts non-metallic material acceptance, shelf-life, and inert-material characterization testing; fabricates and inspects test panels; performs wet chemistry; follows ASTM, MIL, and ISO standards; records and analyzes data; supports investigations and laboratory optimization; and maintains laboratory readiness. Applicants must be pursuing or have recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Materials, Mechanical, Chemical, or a related engineering field. Basic polymeric materials knowledge and Microsoft Office skills are preferred.
