Description
The Associate Midwife Unit Manager - Women's Assessment Unit is a part-time clinical leadership role at Lyell McEwin Hospital in Elizabeth, South Australia. The position supports safe, woman-centred triage, assessment, and escalation; provides clinical leadership and mentorship to midwifery and nursing staff; contributes to quality improvement, accreditation, and policy review; and may act as Midwife Unit Manager when required. The role requires current or eligible registration as a midwife or nurse and midwife with AHPRA, clinical expertise in women's health or maternity, and experience in assessment and triage. It is an ongoing 32-hour-per-week appointment with a salary of $107,487 to $114,917 per annum pro rata, plus superannuation and salary sacrifice benefits, and applications closed on 16 October 2026.
