Description
The Associate Naval Architect performs FEED, studies, detailed design, analysis, and calculations for complex engineering tasks under close supervision and mentoring. The role prepares design reports and procedures, communicates engineering information, coordinates with engineers, architects, design supervisors, and designers, and develops familiarity with project requirements, business units, customers, interdepartmental interactions, productivity tools, costs, and relevant codes and standards. The position reports to the Project Architect and Manager- Naval Architect and may supervise trainee architects.
