Description
Datacom is hiring an Associate Network Engineer for its Networks Managed Services team in Perth, Western Australia, with Adelaide also listed as an eligible location. The full-time permanent role provides 24/7 networking support, monitors network availability and performance, detects and resolves outages, assists with customer network projects such as circuit changes, site moves, and IOS upgrades, and tests, implements, monitors, and tunes networking software and hardware. Candidates need at least two years of networking experience and professional-services experience, developing knowledge of networking and firewalling across datacentres, LANs and WANs, analytical and customer-service skills, and a computer science tertiary qualification achieved or in progress. Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required.
