MacKay is hiring a full-time Associate or Project Hydrogeologist in San Diego, California, with a hybrid schedule and responsibilities spanning conceptual and fate-and-transport modeling, field programs, groundwater and environmental-media data interpretation, remedial alternatives, compliance monitoring, cost estimates, laboratory coordination, project documentation, and stakeholder communication. The Associate Hydrogeologist role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, Geologist-In-Training certification, 2–5 years of experience including at least one year of field experience, and proficiency with Excel and GIS. The Project Hydrogeologist role may require California Professional Geologist certification or reciprocity and 5+ years of experience, including management experience. Compensation is $83,200–$130,000 USD annually, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement matching, paid leave, and licensure expense support.
