HDR is hiring an Associate Power Engineer (also described as Associate Electrical Engineer) in Glasgow, United Kingdom. The role leads high-voltage switchyard and substation engineering projects from concept through detailed design, manages project and package delivery, coordinates multidisciplinary teams, oversees quality, safety, budgets, client relationships, and business development, and mentors engineers. The position requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, at least 8 years of technical design experience on high-voltage substation projects up to 765kV, expertise in critical systems power engineering and power system studies, and familiarity with relevant industry standards and design software.
