HDR is hiring an Associate Electrical Engineer in its Glasgow office to lead electrical system studies and power infrastructure projects from concept through detailed design, commissioning, and operational assessment. The role manages project delivery, client requirements, technical specifications, network models, power system analyses, design quality, budgets, safety, and team development, while supporting renewable integration, energy storage, electrification, and large-load connection projects. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, at least 10 years of power system study experience, extensive knowledge of UK grid codes and power system analysis software, and experience with dynamic studies.
