Description
BD is hiring an Associate Principal Engineer to serve as the Platform Technology Architect for its UCC urine evacuation pump and fluid platform. The role owns the multi-generation technology strategy, roadmap, architecture principles, interfaces, performance targets, reliability, serviceability, verification, reuse, and governance for pump-enabled urine evacuation systems. It partners with engineering, quality, regulatory, manufacturing, supply chain, human factors, service, and program teams to align platform decisions with product releases and long-term platform evolution. The position requires a BS/MS in a relevant engineering discipline and 10+ years of experience in electromechanical medical devices, portable pumps, fluid management, regulated product development, or platform-based product development with reuse across releases. The primary work location is Covington, Georgia, with a minimum of four days of in-office presence per week.
