ABB is hiring a Principal Software Engineer – SCADA & Industrial Automation to lead the architecture, design, development, and lifecycle management of enterprise SCADA and industrial automation software. The role provides technical leadership, defines engineering standards, mentors engineers, and drives innovation across secure, scalable, cloud-native, and AI-enabled industrial software platforms. It is based in Bangalore, India, with a hybrid work model, and requires a relevant bachelor's or master's degree plus 12–18 years of enterprise software engineering experience, including at least 5 years developing SCADA, industrial automation, or mission-critical real-time software systems.
