Description

Aspect Biosystems is seeking an Associate Process Engineer to join their Process Development team. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of an aseptic manufacturing workflow for bioprinted tissue therapeutics, supporting the creation of regenerative medicines aimed at treating serious diseases. Responsibilities include designing and executing fluidic systems, collaborating on technical integration, participating in risk assessments, utilizing mathematical models, supporting technology transfer, troubleshooting issues, aiding in validation strategies, identifying process improvements, and continuously expanding technical expertise.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Hands-on background in the development, characterization, and optimization of biomanufacturing processes is required, preferably within cell therapy.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with bioreactor systems and scaling strategies is desirable.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Familiarity with regulatory requirements for cell therapy products (e.g., providing technical content for CTA/IND filings).
Analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex data and mentor junior team members.
