WPEC is seeking a part-time Associate Producer to fill in for the News Producer and Assignment Desk Editor as needed. The role involves writing broadcast news copy, editing video, posting stories online and on social media, operating a teleprompter, assisting with story development, and performing other editorial duties. Candidates must have journalism or mass communications education, previous television experience, strong writing and news judgment skills, and availability for all shifts, including weekends, overnight, and some holidays.
