Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) is hiring an Associate Project Consultant in its Engineering, Mechanics & Infrastructure Materials division. The role supports structural and materials engineering analysis, design, failure investigations, site inspections, laboratory testing, technical reporting, project documentation, budgeting, scheduling, and client communication across materials including steel, concrete, masonry, wood, metals, polymers, and composites. It is intended for candidates with 0–5 years of civil, structural, or materials engineering experience and education emphasizing materials science, materials engineering, structural engineering, or engineering mechanics. The position offers a 2026 base salary range of $79,560–$81,640 for a bachelor’s degree or $83,200–$85,280 for a master’s degree, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.
