ABB is hiring an embedded software R&D engineer for its Process Automation Business in Bangalore. The role supports the assigned sales organization and customers during proposals, contributes to instrumentation product development, develops embedded software for instrumentation devices, coordinates hardware and software testing, implements functional and quality requirements, and manages technical knowledge and intellectual property. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in computer, electrical, or electronic engineering, 8–12 years of relevant embedded device software development experience, C/C++ and embedded OS expertise, and knowledge of industrial communication protocols. The work model is hybrid.
