Description
Renesas is seeking a Semiconductor Failure Analysis Engineer to analyze, root-cause, and report on semiconductor products. The role collaborates with engineers and technicians, learns failure-analysis workflows, and uses optical and acoustic microscopes, 3D x-ray tomography, photon emission and thermal microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and laboratory bench instrumentation to support field customers and new product development. A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is required, while electrical bench or instrument-control experience is ideal; strong communication, initiative, and multitasking skills are also required. Candidates must meet U.S. person requirements for ITAR access.
