The Associate Research Engineer will assist in designing, prototyping, and documenting technologies for SEL products and solutions, support engineers with research and functional specifications, analyze competitor products, develop technical documentation and papers, and protect intellectual property through patent and copyright applications. The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, knowledge of power systems or related areas, strong writing and communication skills, and willingness to travel up to 25%. It is based at SEL’s corporate office in Pullman, Washington, with a stated pay range of $84,000 to $124,000 and medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
