Description
The Associate Riser Engineer performs routine riser design, analysis, calculations, and documentation under close supervision and mentoring. Responsibilities include preparing design reports and procedures, reviewing MTOs and vendor and design data, checking drawings, preparing detail-design sketches, and performing fatigue, strength, installation, and clashing analyses. The role reports to the Sr Manager (Sub Sea Engineering) and requires 0–3 years of oil and gas experience, preferably an EIT or professional engineering society membership, and a bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering.
