Description
The role advises private capital clients on complex domestic and cross-border transactions and leads workstreams across M&A, private equity, public-to-private, joint venture, co-investment, growth equity, structured investment, restructuring, and exit transactions. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating transaction documentation, managing due diligence, coordinating multi-jurisdictional input, advising on transaction strategy and structuring, supervising junior associates and trainees, and supporting business development and legal project management. The candidate must be a qualified lawyer with strong private equity, M&A, and corporate transactional experience, ideally from a leading international law firm, and should have experience advising on complex cross-border transactions in Singapore and/or across Asia-Pacific.
