Description
StructureCraft is hiring an Associate Structural Engineer to lead teams of project engineers, drafters, and designers on creative timber and other structural projects. The role includes concept scheming, detailed structural design and detailing, calculations, finite-element modelling, client and project-team coordination, site reviews, cost and quantity estimates, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates need a master’s or doctorate in civil or a related engineering discipline, at least 10 years of structural engineering experience including 5 years in timber engineering, and professional engineering credentials; experience with seismic design, Canadian, American, and European codes, SAP2000, R-FEM, ETABS, Excel, and 3D modelling software is relevant.
