Description
Eversource is hiring one regular dispatching employee to plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor the safe and reliable minute-to-minute operation of generation, transmission, and distribution facilities under the ESCC dispatch center. The role includes switching and grounding orders, outage coordination, SCADA and load-flow analysis, fault isolation, emergency procedures, system reliability studies, and compliance with NERC and other grid reliability requirements. It requires an associate’s degree or equivalent technical training, five years of related dispatching or electric operations experience, and the ability to obtain NERC certification within the first year. The position pays $63.02 and requires emergency storm assignments and travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire.
