Description
Eversource is hiring one regular ESCC Dispatching Operator to plan, schedule, and coordinate the safe and reliable minute-to-minute operation of generation, transmission, and distribution facilities under the ESCC dispatch center. The role monitors SCADA and system status, performs switching, grounding, tagging, outage, contingency, fault, and load-flow analyses, coordinates emergency procedures, and provides shift supervision when needed. It requires an associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent technical training, five years of related dispatching or electric operations experience, and the ability to obtain NERC certification within the first year. The position pays $63.02 and requires emergency storm assignments and travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire.
