Description
The Associate Teacher co-teaches in the classroom under a teacher’s supervision, supervising children, developing and implementing activities, supporting other staff and volunteers, helping evaluate the program and children, assisting with facility maintenance, and supporting family services. The position is non-exempt and requires 12 units of Early Childhood Education, including core courses in child growth and development, child-family and community, and program and curriculum, plus 1–2 years of experience working with young children in a group setting.
