Description
The Associate Teacher supports a classroom Teacher in an early childhood Head Start setting by supervising children, implementing the Creative Curriculum, planning and evaluating lessons, supporting individualized plans, conducting assessments, maintaining safe indoor and outdoor activities, and assisting with meals and parent conferences. The role requires a California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit, an AA degree or higher in a related field, a valid Class C driver’s license, First Aid and CPR certification, at least six months of relevant experience, and completion of required immunizations, TB testing, and background checks.
