Description
Para Los Niños is hiring Associate Teachers for its Expanded Learning program at Charter Elementary and Charter Middle Schools. The role supports afterschool, weekend, and intersession activities; leads large and small group lessons; provides homework assistance, tutoring, and academic enrichment; manages classrooms and student behavior; supervises students; maintains records; and supports parents and staff. Candidates need 60 units in child development or related fields or a current California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit, one year of experience working with students, strong communication and organizational skills, computer literacy, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Compensation ranges from $21.22 to $25.60 per hour depending on the program.
