Clifford Chance is hiring an Associate in its Washington, DC Trade/Sanctions group to focus primarily on CFIUS matters. The role involves assessing CFIUS jurisdiction, identifying mandatory and voluntary filing requirements, evaluating national security risks, advising on deal terms, preparing CFIUS notices and declarations, supporting clients through reviews and investigations, and addressing mitigation considerations. The position requires a J.D., active DC Bar membership or eligibility to waive into the DC Bar, substantial CFIUS experience, strong legal research and drafting skills, and the ability to work with cross-border transactional teams. The salary range is $260,000-$365,000.
