Amwins is hiring a full-time, in-office Associate Underwriter for its Access team, with flexibility to work in either the Dothan, Alabama or Birmingham, Alabama office. The role reviews submission information, rates and prepares new or renewal quotes, handles inspection recommendations and discrepancies, monitors reports, may process policy issuance and endorsements, assists with invoicing, and enters data into internet-based systems. Candidates need at least one year of prior insurance experience, a Property & Casualty Insurance License or the ability to obtain one within 90 days, strong communication and organizational skills, and Microsoft Office proficiency with Excel.
