Description
Eversource is hiring one Electrical Design Engineer to design and support substation projects in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. The role includes developing detailed and conceptual designs, performing field visits and technical calculations, preparing bills of materials, reviewing design changes, supporting construction and regulatory submittals, and providing guidance to design drafters. Candidates need an associate’s degree in electronic engineering technology or two to four years of directly related electrical experience, working knowledge of electrical systems and applicable codes, and a valid motor vehicle license. The position requires storm duty and may involve emergency restoration assignments.
