Amgen is hiring an Associate Data Scientist to develop and deploy machine learning, operational research, semantic analysis, and statistical methods for large datasets. The role focuses on building and managing a proprietary AI engine for Copay, training models, performing exploratory and targeted analytics, developing MLOps pipelines, and creating AI-driven dashboards and automated workflows. Candidates need experience with Python and relevant machine learning libraries, statistical techniques, and preferably MLOps, data engineering, and cloud platforms; a master’s degree in computer science, statistics, or a STEM major, or a bachelor’s degree with 1–3 years of relevant experience, is required.
