Description
Petco is hiring a Veterinarian for its Vetco Total Care full-service veterinary hospital. The role provides physical examinations, diagnoses and treats diseases, performs preventive care, conducts rounds, documents patient care, and performs routine and complex surgeries and dental procedures. The Veterinarian works under direct supervision from the Hospital Medical Leader or Area Medical Director, communicates with clients and specialists, and may supervise paraprofessional staff. The position requires an AVMA-accredited Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, active veterinarian licensure, a DEA license, and the ability to perform anesthesia and routine surgeries. The stated pay range is $50.75 to $81.25 per hour.
