Description
The Associate Vice President for Workforce Development will lead workforce education across the University of Hawai‘i System, aligning credit and non-credit programs, career pathways, and industry partnerships with state economic priorities. The role oversees workforce strategy, curriculum development, internships and apprenticeships, labor-market data, micro-credentials, grant applications, compliance, and culturally responsive community engagement. It is a permanent full-time position at the Manoa Campus with an annual salary of $162,156 to $291,885 and requires a master’s degree plus at least eight years of progressive leadership experience in workforce development, economic development, or higher education administration.
