Description
The Assistant Shift Supervisor directs and coordinates production team members in a plastics manufacturing environment, including extrusion technicians, press operators, tenders, and material drivers. The role oversees production systems, assigns work, trains staff, troubleshoots errors, maintains quality and safety standards, manages equipment setups, and supports operational improvements. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of supervisory experience in plastics, hands-on mold-setup experience, and familiarity with structural foam and high-pressure molding; Granger Robotic experience is a plus. The position includes hands-on training in press operations, quality, press tending, mold setup, and material handling.
