Description
The Assistant Superintendent supports the Project Superintendent in managing day-to-day heavy civil highway construction activities, including coordinating subcontractors and crews, monitoring safety and compliance, tracking progress and budgets, attending jobsite meetings, resolving field issues, maintaining reports, and supporting quality control and craft personnel development. The role requires 5–7 years of heavy civil highway construction experience, familiarity with FDOT contracts and reporting, a valid driver’s license, outdoor and physically demanding work, and willingness to travel to various job sites.
