Description
The Assistant Project Superintendent supports the Project Superintendent in managing day-to-day heavy-civil highway construction field activities. Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors and crews, monitoring safety and compliance, tracking project progress and budgets, participating in jobsite meetings, resolving field issues, maintaining reports, supporting quality control, and developing craft personnel. The role requires 5–7 years of heavy-civil highway construction experience, familiarity with FDOT contracts and reporting, a valid driver’s license, outdoor physical work, and willingness to travel to various job sites.
