Description
The Assurance Manager supervises and reviews audit engagements from planning through field work and wrap-up, advises clients on economic and regulatory risks, resolves complex accounting issues, applies GAAP and GAAS, reviews SEC and PCAOB filings, and validates financial reporting controls. The role also manages audit teams, provides training, handles client acceptance and retention, and is responsible for business development, client relationships, engagement profitability, billings, and collections. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree, at least five years of relevant audit or public accounting experience, significant supervisory experience, and an active US CPA or recognized international equivalent.
