Description
The Assurance Manager supervises and directs audit engagement teams through planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up; reviews workpapers and conclusions; advises clients on economic and regulatory risks; resolves complex accounting issues; applies GAAP, GAAS, SEC, and PCAOB requirements; and documents financial reporting controls. The role also handles client acceptance and retention, engagement profitability, business development, and client presentations. It requires a bachelor’s degree, at least five years of relevant audit or public accounting experience, significant supervisory experience, and an active US CPA or recognized international equivalent. Salary ranges vary by location, with California listed at $120,000–$140,000.
