The role leads audit engagements, plans audit objectives and strategy, reviews financial records and statements, manages client expectations and firm risk, and supervises and mentors staff. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in accounting or an equivalent field, at least five years of progressive audit or assurance experience, CPA certification, and experience with asset management clients; a master’s degree and one year of supervisory experience are preferred. The expected salary range for New York and California is $85,000 to $150,000, with other geographies varying by market.
