Description
The Associate Director for Clinical Skills Education & Simulation will report to the Assistant Dean for Clinical Simulation and lead the development, alignment, and implementation of clinical skills education within the Shared Discovery Curriculum for medical students, particularly in years 1 and 2. Responsibilities include curriculum development, program evaluation, medical education scholarship, teaching core clinical skills, faculty development and mentorship, and multidisciplinary team leadership. The position is based in Grand Rapids with occasional travel and the possibility of being located in East Lansing, with early, evening, or weekend hours as needed. It is a fixed-term, part-time, remote-friendly faculty role requiring an MD, DO, or equivalent advanced degree in a healthcare-related field, current licensure, curriculum-development experience, and teaching experience across multiple modalities, including clinical skills and clinical simulation.
