Description

SSI is hiring an Astrodynamics Analyst in Chantilly, Virginia to independently evaluate mission architectures, trajectory designs, orbital mechanics, and autonomous guidance systems for satellites in Earth, lunar, and cislunar orbits. The role involves developing complex orbital maneuvering strategies, analyzing orbit determination, conducting trade studies, validating technical metrics and algorithms, and preparing technical briefings for government customers. Candidates must hold an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility, have a master's degree in engineering, and possess at least ten years of experience, including expertise in multi-body dynamics, cislunar orbits, transfer techniques, autonomous guidance and navigation, and trajectory IV&V.
