Forvia is hiring for a procurement/supplier management role focused on mass production materials. The job involves maintaining qualified suppliers, evaluating supplier performance and process changes, managing pricing and cost control for production materials, checking supplier capacity and building backup supplier resources, placing orders for mass-production materials, and coordinating urgently needed logistics materials. Candidates need at least an associate degree or above, 3+ years of purchasing experience, familiarity with manufacturing and supply chain processes, 1+ year of chip and connector material management experience, and proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP plus Word and Excel; English must be usable as a working language.
