Description
The CDL Program Director leads the commercial driver's license program, providing curriculum and subject-matter expertise, advising and retaining students, recruiting and supporting faculty, evaluating and developing Driver Trainers, monitoring program performance, and supporting accreditation and continuous improvement. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a Class A CDL license with at least two years of driving experience, five years of industry instructional experience, and two years of management or supervisory experience; an associate's degree or higher and post-secondary academic instruction experience are preferred. The position also involves physical driving and instructional duties, including pre- and post-trip inspections, trailer coupling and uncoupling, and outdoor training in varying weather conditions.
