Description
Textron Systems is hiring a Senior ATE Mechanical Engineer to lead and support the end-to-end design, documentation, production release, and lifecycle support of custom Automated Test Equipment. The role owns mechanical architecture for test consoles, interface modules, and specialized fixtures; designs rack assemblies, ITAs, cable assemblies, interconnect diagrams, and BOMs; performs 3D/2D modeling and structural or thermal FEA; manages design releases and product data; and leads cross-functional design reviews. Candidates need a mechanical engineering degree, 5–10 years of ATE development and production-release experience, and the ability to obtain a US Department of War Secret Security Clearance. The role is open at Level III and Level IV, with corresponding annual salary ranges of $115,800–$176,200 and $146,500–$224,500.
