Description
The Athletic Academic Advisor serves as the academic advisor for football and assigned Olympic sports, supporting student-athletes with degree requirements, major selection, registration, academic records, eligibility monitoring, graduation, and post-graduate planning. The role also coordinates with coaches, assists in recruitment, oversees tutoring and travel-letter programs, and refers students to campus resources. It requires a bachelor’s degree, at least two years of full-time intercollegiate athletic academic advising experience, computer and software proficiency, effective communication, confidentiality, and the ability to work occasional nights or weekends.
