Description
The coach will be a role model in attitude, speech, and actions, demonstrating a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ, and motivating others to accept God’s gift of salvation and grow in their faith. The role requires abiding by all Athletic Department regulations, teaching the rules of the game, assuring proper student training, insisting on eligibility and sportsmanship rules, and taking responsibility for the entire program from Varsity to Middle School. The coach must exemplify high moral character, refrain from using profanity or obscene language, and display modesty in victory and graciousness in defeat. The coach is also responsible for administrative tasks such as reporting scores, managing rosters, securing facilities, and ensuring player safety and medical protocols are followed.
