Description
The Lansing School District is hiring athletic coaches to recruit and develop teams, coach them to competitive records, support postseason play, ensure student academic eligibility, organize practices and games, maintain team equipment, and lead offseason training and in-season tutoring. Applicants must have previous successful coaching experience, knowledge of coaching tactics and MHSAA rules, CPR certification, and first-aid training; a Michigan teacher certificate and successful NCAA athletic career are preferred. The position offers a stipend based on the co-curricular amount associated with the sport under the LSEA contract.
